Project Overview
The client finds an innovative solution to avoid the feeling of isolation and limit the risk of deteriorating mental health.
Disclaimer: This project was developed during a UX Workshop at Gobelins ( School of Design in Paris).
The context
The feeling of loneliness among the population has sharply worsened with the Covid crisis, with serious consequences.
Confinement, curfew, closure of bars and restaurants, sports halls, entertainment shows ... The Covid-19 pandemic has brought a halt to the social life of millions of French people who suffer severely from this isolation.

The Design Challenge:
How might we help young adults living alone taking a break from the pandemic to reduce their feeling of confinement?
Earthless
An immersive content platform allowing you to be transported into several real-world experiences using VR devices and escape reality from your sofa.
Research process
As a part of the research process, we start by looking at existing statistical data for learning about the subject and find the target. That shows us the 25-34 years old as a primary target.
Then we did primary User Interviews with six different men. The questionnaire was constructed in 4 parts: work, extra-professional activities, social interactions, and an open question.
